Apple and Consumer Revise $35 million iPhone Sound Settlement Agreement: Apple and consumer lawyers have updated a $35 million settlement agreement that will address allegations of poor sound quality and impaired call capabilities on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus phones sold by Apple. The Northern District Court of California in the United States initially approved the settlement agreement in November 2023. Consumers claim that a flaw in the iPhone reduces audio quality, making it difficult to make calls or use features such as Siri.
