On October 30th, Toyota Motor Company released production and sales data showing that global production in the first half of the 2024 fiscal year (April 9) increased by 12.8% compared to the same period last year, to 5058248 vehicles. This is the first time in four years that the highest production record for the first half of the year has been set. Global sales also increased by 9.1% year-on-year to 5172387 vehicles, setting a new high for the first half of the year.
