On March 21st, Li Xiang, founder, chairman, and CEO of Ideal Automobile, released an internal letter from all employees, reviewing the problems that occurred at Ideal Automobile in March and proposing solutions. Li Xiang believes that there is a rhythm issue with Ideal MEGA, mistakenly treating the stage from 0 to 1 (commercial validation period) as operating from 1 to 10 (high-speed development period). In addition, Ideal Automobile focuses too much on sales and competition from top to bottom, allowing desire to surpass value.
Regarding the rhythm issue of Ideal MEGA, Li Xiang said, "We will patiently operate it at a pace from 0 to 1, focusing on the core user group and cities with strong high-end pure electric consumption capabilities. We will abandon the sales strategy of fully blooming, focus on product experience and test drives in large retail centers in top cities, and accelerate the construction of overcharging stations in these cities. After effectively completing the stages from 0 to 1, we will promote it to more cities and larger user groups."
Regarding the issue of excessive focus on sales, Li Xiang said, "Reduce sales expectations and desires, return to healthy growth. Focus on users rather than competition, focus on value rather than desire. Return to the user value enhancement that we excel at, and return to the operational efficiency improvement that we excel at."
