With the further expansion of visa free countries, in order to further facilitate the payment services for foreigners coming to China, Alipay App launched 14 new language translation services on a pilot basis on March 18, adding French, German, Spanish, Malay, Arabic, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and other language translations above the original Chinese and English.
Previously, Alipay has launched two mobile payment schemes for inbound personnel, namely, "external card internal binding" and "outsourcing internal use". With the support and guidance of the People's Bank of China and the SAFE, it has continuously optimized and improved payment services, and completed the improvement of certification free, single transaction and annual payment limits.
It is reported that the pilot launch of 16 language translations is aimed at improving services for foreign personnel who have difficulty communicating in China, and also further reducing the threshold for domestic businesses to serve foreign personnel. The 16 language translation service can translate the service scenes in Alipay App, including taxi taking, hotel booking, scenic spot ticket booking, bus taking, charging, exchange rate inquiry and other small program contents, which can be translated at a glance by foreign users through the "translation tool".
