Google apologized on March 18th for the misreporting of the ringgit exchange rate data and stated that the issue has been resolved. Google released an incorrect US dollar to Ringgit exchange rate on March 15th, and the Bank of Malaysia pointed out Google's mistake, stating that this was the second time Google had released inaccurate US dollar to Ringgit exchange rate data in 2024, the last time it occurred on February 6th.
