On March 2nd, General Motors recalled 820000 pickup trucks in North America due to possible accidental unlocking and opening of the tailgate. The recall covers electric tailgate unlocking trucks from 2020 to 2024, as water may seep into the external tailgate switch and cause a short circuit when parked. General Motors stated that it is reported that there was one minor injury accident and three minor property damage complaints related to recall issues.
