Pfizer said in a statement on September 25 that it has restarted most of its production lines at its Rocky Mountain, North Carolina, plant after it was severely damaged by a tornado on July 19. The plant is one of the world's largest production sites for sterile injection products. The plant produces nearly 30 percent of the sterile injections used in U.S. hospitals and also focuses on a wide range of products, including anti-infective drugs.
