On February 7th, Boeing executives urged suppliers to maintain the current progress of the 737 production plan, but acknowledged that the ongoing investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) into the company's 737 MAX production line may force a change in the plan. Boeing reiterated its 737 production plan in an email sent to suppliers on January 22nd, requesting a monthly production of 42 737 aircraft starting from that month. But the FAA has limited the production of Boeing 737 production lines to the current monthly production of 38 aircraft, and regulatory investigations into Boeing may put it behind its supply chain.
