On the morning of December 29th, according to CCTV News, a Jeju Airlines plane that was landing deviated from the runway and collided with a wall at the Muang An International Airport in Jeollanam do, South Korea, causing an explosion and fire. The aircraft involved carried a total of 181 people, including 175 passengers and 6 flight attendants. Finally, it was confirmed that only 2 flight attendants survived the accident, while the remaining 179 people died. The aircraft, except for the tail section, has been completely burned and cannot be identified. According to South Korean media reports, this accident is the deadliest aircraft accident in South Korea. South Korea has entered a 7-day period of national mourning, from today until 24:00 on January 4th. Foreign media pointed out that this year has been a "tragic" year for Boeing.
