On December 5th, Meta and IBM launched an AI alliance, consisting of over 50 AI companies and research institutions, to jointly promote open development of AI and establish security benchmarks, hoping to share technology and reduce risks. The alliance members include Intel, Oracle, Cornell University, etc., but do not include ChatGPT developer OpenAI.
