The November delivery data submitted by five new car making forces, including Ideal, Xiaopeng, Lingpao, NIO, and Nezha, on December 1st showed that after experiencing a "golden nine silver ten" frenzy, the delivery volume in November was slightly sluggish compared to the previous month.
In November, Ideal Automobile still firmly held the top position in delivery volume with a record of delivering 41030 new vehicles, and achieved delivery volume exceeding 40000 vehicles for two consecutive months, a month on month increase of 1.5%. As of November 30th, Ideal Automobile has delivered a total of 325677 vehicles throughout the year, achieving its sales target of 300000 vehicles in 2023 ahead of schedule.
"With the increase in market demand, we will continue to challenge the goal of delivering 50000 vehicles by December, and we have made sufficient preparations for capacity building including sales, supply, manufacturing, and delivery," said Ideal Automotive.
On the same day that the delivery data for November was disclosed, Ideal announced that the Ideal L series had started internal testing of Ideal Automobile OTA 5.0 in November, and an official version would be launched in December. After the OTA 5.0 upgrade, AD Max 3.0 achieves full scene intelligent driving (NOA) and full scene assisted driving (LCC). At the same time, the self-developed large model of Ideal Automobile is about to be launched, and the "Ideal Classmate" based on the large model will provide car owners with functions such as driving, transportation, entertainment, and encyclopedia. "The degree of improvement in OTA 5.0 product strength even exceeds the major upgrade of a car," said Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Ideal Automobile.
Xiaopeng Motors held the top spot last month with a delivery volume of 20041 vehicles, and also achieved a monthly delivery of over 20000 vehicles for the second time, a slight increase of 0.19% compared to the previous month. Among them, the Xiaopeng G6 delivered 8750 vehicles in November, which is the main model driving the growth in delivery volume. Since the beginning of this year, Xiaopeng Motors has maintained a positive monthly delivery growth for 10 consecutive months. As of the end of November, Xiaopeng Motors has delivered a total of 121486 vehicles in 2023, exceeding the total amount of last year.
Zero Run Motors delivered 18508 vehicles in November, reaching a historic high with a year-on-year increase of 130%. Zero Run announced that its first global model, the C10, will start pre-sales in China in January next year and plans to complete a series of actions such as in store, launch, and delivery within the first quarter.
At the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Zero Run C10 officially made its debut. The new car is positioned as a medium-sized new energy SUV and is a global model based on the "four leaf clover" central integrated electronic and electrical architecture. It offers two power options: extended range and pure electric, and is equipped with a LiDAR, which will support advanced intelligent driving assistance.
NIO's delivery volume in November showed a slight month on month decrease compared to the previous month, ranking fourth with a delivery performance of 15959 vehicles. From January to November, NIO delivered a total of 142026 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 33.1%. Nezha Motors delivered 12506 new cars in November, ranking last for 5 consecutive months. Recently, Nezha Motors has successively released its progress in overseas markets, hoping to seek sales breakthroughs through overseas markets.
On November 29th, Nezha Motors announced that it had signed a cooperation agreement with Indonesian electric vehicle manufacturer PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM). Nezha Motors' products will begin production in Indonesia in KD format in the second quarter of 2024; On November 30th, it was once again announced that the first overseas factory in Thailand, the Thailand Ecological Smart Factory, was officially put into operation. The first complete vehicle, the Nezha V-II, was officially launched and will begin large-scale production in the first quarter of next year; On December 1st, a formal cooperation agreement was signed with Dachangxing Automobile, and Nezha Automobile's flagship models will be introduced to Hong Kong, China next year. According to the plan, by 2024, Nezha Automobile plans to expand its global sales network to 50 countries and establish 500 overseas sales and service outlets.
