Recently, Apple announced that it will hold a new "Swift Student Challenge" in February 2024 and establish a new "Outstanding Winners" award to recognize 50 outstanding winners.
In 2014, the WWDC Apple Developer Conference released the programming language Swift. In recent years, the "Swift Student Challenge" has also developed into a platform for learning programming and showcasing creativity and developing practical skills for app developers. We believe that everyone can learn programming and develop apps, "said Susan Prescott, Vice President of Global Developer Relations, Enterprise and Education Product Marketing at Apple." Apple will release new programming resources for students and educators, and collaborate with partners to develop exclusive Swift programming projects
To help learners access app development resources, Apple Swift Playgrounds has released four new "Everyone Can Program" projects, providing detailed step-by-step resources to guide developers in improving their programming skills. The 'Everyone can Program' project can be combined with any topic and is suitable for teaching in the classroom or programming classroom.
These four new projects include designing a simple app, building with stacking and graphics, building custom graphics, and designing app icons. These contents have currently been launched in the Apple Education Community, where educators and programming enthusiasts can access various content resources they need.
Programming enthusiasts and college students can register and participate through the Apple official website. Among the final 350 winners, 50 outstanding winners will be invited to visit the Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California next summer for learning and exchange.
