Because the published contents were not reviewed and contained graphic advertisements that expressed efficacy, safety assertions or guarantees, the official account operating company was fined 9000 yuan by the Haikou Market Supervision Bureau Longhua Branch. It is worth mentioning that the company was fined twice last year for using advertising spokespersons as proof of recommendation.

It was disclosed that on June 14, Longhua Branch of Haikou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau received the Notice on Handover of Suspected Illegal Advertising Clues, which reflected that Hainan First tier Big Shot Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Big Shot Technology") was suspected of illegal in publishing medical beauty advertisements through the company's WeChat official account "New Oxygen". It was found that in order to publicize and promote the "New Oxygen" online medical beauty trading platform, Big Star Technology was entrusted by Beijing Pusheng Yunze Technology Co., Ltd., and the company paid 1500 yuan for each article to publish graphic publicity articles through its registered "New Oxygen" WeChat official account.
The advertisement content includes text and comparative images such as "After 8 months of completing the ultrasound cannon, the facial soft tissue was effectively improved, and the nasolabial folds caused by apple muscle sagging were reduced", "At the age of 26, Lu Lu had more facial soft tissue, blurred jawline, and after the ultrasound shield was improved, his U-face directly turned into a V-face, with rich soft tissue compacted and inwardly retracted, and his face reduced by a circle". Da Ka Technology failed to provide proof materials for the "Medical Advertising Review", which constitutes an illegal act of knowingly or should have known that it had not been reviewed and still published claims about efficacy and safety, or guaranteed medical beauty advertising.
The Longhua Branch of Haikou Market Supervision Bureau pointed out that Da Ka Technology violated the provisions of Article 16, Paragraph 1, Item 1 and Article 46 of the Advertising Law, and was fined RMB 9000 for confiscating advertising expenses.
According to the search of Nandu reporters, on June 6, 2023, Big Star Technology was ordered to stop publishing advertisements and fined 3000 yuan because it published medical advertising content on its "First tier Big Star" official account and used the effect comparison chart of patients before and after use as proof, which constituted an illegal act of using advertising spokesmen to make recommendations and proofs.
On October 30 of the same year, Big Brother Technology was fined 9000 yuan by Longhua Branch of Haikou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau for publishing the medical advertisement of "New Oxygen Medical Ultrasound Cannon" on the official account of "Top tier Big Brother", which used the effect comparison chart of patients before and after use as proof.
Public information shows that "New Oxygen" is a medical beauty service platform, with the brand's parent company being Beijing New Oxygen Technology Co., Ltd., founded in 2013. The platform has doctors and experts in plastic surgery, beauty, skincare, body care, and other fields.
