On December 8th, Ant Group Chairman and CEO Jing Xiandong announced through a staff letter that Ant Group President Han Xinyi will officially take over as Ant Group CEO from March 1st, 2025, fully responsible for Ant Group's various businesses and daily management work, and report to Jing Xiandong and the board of directors. In the future, Jing Xiandong will focus on serving as the chairman and fully support Han Xinyi and the management team.
According to public information, Han Xinyi joined Ant Group in May 2014 and has served as Vice President of Strategic Investment, CFO, and Executive Director of the Board of Directors. He became the President of Ant Group in March 2024.
Jing Xiandong highly praised Han Xinyi in the letter: During his ten years of serving Ant, he has made important contributions to the company's development with sharp and profound strategic insights and diligent professional spirit; Since he became the president of Ant Group in March this year, he has led the team to continuously promote Alipay to make a series of innovative changes with outstanding leadership. Not only that, his humble, upright, impartial qualities and open and inclusive approach have also been unanimously recognized by the team. Jing Xiandong said that he believes that in the position of CEO, Han Xinyi will be able to lead the team to continuously create more surprises.

Today is the 20th birthday of Alipay and Ant Group. Cyril joined Alipay in 2014 and served successively as Vice President of Strategic Investment, CFO and Group President. In 2016, I took over the CEO baton from Lucy.
