At the "2024 Baidu Hot AI Marketing Conference" held on December 5th, Baidu's commercial system was officially upgraded to "Baidu Companion". The latest data released at the meeting shows that over 70% of customers are currently using Baidu AI marketing services.
According to Chen Yifan, Vice President of Baidu and Head of Mobile Ecological Business System, in new fields such as intelligent Q&A, note taking, information aggregation, as well as short dramas, novels, games, etc., the Wenxin big model not only meets user needs but also helps enterprises further gain more commercial space. He stated that generative AI can bring value to both users and merchants, and will unleash 10 times the commercial space in the next two years.
At present, the monthly active users of Baidu APP have reached 704 million, and over 20% of search result pages cover AI generated content, providing users with efficient content summaries.
According to Xue Su, Vice President of Baidu and Head of AI Product Innovation Business, as a new scenario for user interaction and life services, New Search Wen Xiaoyan has accumulated over 3.5 billion calls and exceeded 10 million monthly active users. It is deeply building service-oriented functions in professional verticals such as law and health, and plans to integrate more life service functions in the future. It is expected to cover more than 30 industries next year.
