According to information disclosed by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Xidi Intelligent Driving has recently submitted a listing application to the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, aiming to become the "first stock of autonomous driving mining cards". Geely based intelligent driving company Furuidek also submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange last week. In addition, companies such as Xiaoma Zhixing have successfully gone public in the United States. The intensive rush of enterprises in the field of intelligent driving to the capital market has attracted high attention.
Regarding the wave of IPOs for smart driving companies, Yu Tianyu, Managing Director and Director of the Industry Research Institute of Kailian Capital, stated in an interview with China Securities Journal that relevant companies currently have multiple favorable conditions for launching IPOs: firstly, the recovery of capital market heat, and secondly, the increase in investors' attention and enthusiasm for the smart driving industry. In addition, financing oriented science and technology innovation enterprises face pressure from investors to withdraw, and intelligent driving enterprises need to seize this window of opportunity.

Explore investment opportunities in segmented tracks
With the breakthrough in the commercialization of Baidu Apollo Go and the further maturity of the technical solutions of Tesla, Huawei and other manufacturers, the smart drive industry will usher in a broad development prospect.
2024 is considered by the industry as the first year of commercialization for autonomous driving. Liu Yudong believes that from the development of various sub tracks of intelligent driving, unmanned driving and Robotaxi in mining areas have entered the stage of large-scale application. In these scenarios, autonomous driving technology can create significant economic value for customers. In addition, the application prospects of autonomous driving in ports, environmental sanitation, mainline logistics, park logistics and other scenarios are promising.
In terms of advanced intelligent driving for passenger cars, Dongwu Securities' research report shows that the development trend of the advanced intelligent driving industry is clear. In October of this year, the penetration rate of L3 level intelligent driving for domestic new energy passenger vehicles was 10.9%, an increase of 5.7 percentage points year-on-year. According to its calculations, the penetration rate of L3 level intelligent driving for new energy vehicles in China is expected to exceed 20% by 2025 and 70% by 2027. The industry's upward trend may far exceed market expectations.
The intelligent driving industry involves a wide range of areas, and related enterprises actively explore business models based on their own advantages, including focusing on specific areas such as application solutions, software development, and technology licensing. From the investment opportunities in the sub sectors of the intelligent driving industry, industry insiders indicate that most sub sectors are expected to have broad development space.
Taking the unmanned driving track in the mining area as an example, Liu Yudong said that the working environment in the mining area is harsh and the safety production requirements are high. Autonomous driving has great potential in mining areas and is highly accepted by customers. Autonomous driving in mining areas is expected to become a race track worth billions of dollars.
In fact, autonomous driving in mining areas is one of the fastest commercialized intelligent driving tracks, and its application in open-pit mines in China has experienced explosive growth in recent years.
From the operating situation of top enterprises, the current market share of Easy Control intelligent driving is relatively high, and the company is expected to achieve a revenue of about 1 billion yuan in 2024.
