On September 14th local time, Walt Disney and DirecTV announced that they have reached a principled agreement to resume providing college football and other programs to the satellite TV provider's over 11 million subscribers. The two companies stated that the agreement provides satellite TV users with more choices and flexibility. After negotiations for contract renewal reached a deadlock, DirecTV users lost access to ABC, ESPN, and other Disney owned networks on September 1st. (Reuters)
