NIO founder, chairman, and CEO Li Bin, together with NIO digital systems, product experience, intelligent driving, mobile phones, and intelligent hardware leaders, has released heavyweight technological achievements in various aspects such as intelligent driving chips, vehicle wide operating systems, intelligent systems, intelligent driving, and panoramic connectivity.
Li Bin announced that the independently designed intelligent driving chip - Shenji NX9031- has been successfully taped out. In terms of comprehensive capability and execution efficiency, the Shenji NX9031 can achieve the performance of four industry flagship chips with one self-developed chip.
Li Bin also announced that NIO has officially released the full range of SkyOS, a car intelligent base designed for AI, which has been researched and developed for 4 years and invested over 23000 person months. SkyOS · Tianshu, as an AI oriented vehicle wide operating system, has seven characteristics: high bandwidth, low latency, large computing power and heterogeneous hardware, cross domain integration, flexible and continuous evolution, high reliability, and information security. It realizes unified management and coordination of vehicle networking, vehicle control, intelligent driving, digital cockpit, mobile applications and other global applications, and builds true vehicle wide intelligence in the AI era.
The new Banyan 3 intelligent system based on AI core underlying capabilities has been released at this year's NIO IN, and the first version is expected to be pushed to users in the second half of August. NIO also released China's first intelligent driving world model NWM (NIO World Model). NIO's intelligent driving technology architecture NADArch 2.0 was officially released at NIO IN 2024 NIO Innovation Technology Day. NIO announced that intelligent driving based on NADArch 2.0 will be gradually launched in the second half of 2024.
The all-new NIO Phone was also launched on NIO IN 2024 NIO Technology Innovation Day. Depending on the configuration, the new NIO Phone is priced between 6499 yuan and 7499 yuan.
