On Monday local time, Nvidia announced a new study using artificial intelligence (AI) chat robots to generate responses similar to those of humans in the design of semiconductors.
It is reported that the study uses a so-called large-scale language model to answer some questions based on the company's long history. The technology behind the large-scale language model, also known as chatbots, was trained by Nvidia using data accumulated over the past 30 years in chip design history.
Bill Dally, Chief Scientist of NVIDIA, said, "It has been proven that many of our senior designers spend a considerable amount of time answering questions from junior designers. Using chat robots to answer questions from junior designers can save a lot of time for senior designers
But Dally also emphasized, "Our goal is not to automate processes or replace employees, but to empower our existing employees and make their work more efficient
