This round of financing was led by Baidu and Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, followed by Zhongguancun Science City Company and Qiming Venture Capital. As one of the earliest teams in China to lay out a multimodal universal large model, Shengshu Technology, together with Tsinghua University, released the first video large model Vidu in China to fully benchmark against OpenAI Sora in April this year. In the future, Shengshu Technology will continue to train and improve model capabilities based on Baidu Baige · AI heterogeneous computing platform, and gradually open model services through Baidu AI Cloud Qianfan platform.

At the beginning of 2024, OpenAI launched the video model Sora, which attracted attention for its fusion architecture Diffusion Transformer and native multimodal technology roadmap. At that time, Shengshu Technology had been laying out this technology roadmap for over a year. In April this year, Shengshu Technology and Tsinghua University officially released China's first long duration, high consistency, and high dynamic video model - Vidu, with comprehensive performance benchmarking against Sora.
