After the UAW strike ended, Stellantis sought an agreement with the Canadian union. After reaching a preliminary agreement with the UAW on Saturday, Stellantis is currently negotiating a strike to prevent its Canadian business. The union representing Canadian automotive workers, Unifor, is attempting to match Stellantis with the three-year new agreement signed with Ford and General Motors. The union stated that if an agreement cannot be reached before 11:59 pm Toronto time on Sunday, the workers will go on strike.
