An insider revealed that General Motors' autonomous driving division Cruise has reached a settlement agreement of $8 million to $12 million with a pedestrian in San Francisco who was run over by its autonomous taxi. Last October, this female pedestrian was run over by a Cruise autonomous taxi after being hit by another car. The above-mentioned person stated that the settlement was reached earlier this year, and the woman has now been discharged from the hospital. (Bloomberg)
