This flight was originally planned to fly to the neighboring Mali capital Bamako. According to media reports, when the plane was taxiing on the runway and preparing to take off, the crew discovered a suspected hydraulic oil leak and decided to interrupt the takeoff. Türkiye's Ministry of Transport said the plane took off from Cologne, Germany. 184 passengers and 6 crew members on board have been safely evacuated, with no casualties. The runway is also undamaged.
