The reporter learned from the sky eye check App that recently, Apple Inc. applied for a "controller device with a separable part" patent was published.
According to the patent description and display, the patent provides a controller device that can be used with networked devices (such as computers, tablet computing devices, head-mounted devices, virtual reality devices, augmented reality devices or gaming devices, etc.), which can provide users with multiple modes of operation. The controller section includes an interface portion for user operation and input, including a button, joystick, or touch input. The controller segment can detect the position or movement of the user's hand for navigating augmented reality or virtual reality programming, and can be selectively engaged and disengaged to allow the user to operate in different modes.
At Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in June, the company unveiled the Apple Vision Pro, the company's first mixed reality (MR) product. The device, priced at $3,499 in the US, will go on sale early next year and can be used in office, gaming and other Settings.
