According to CCTV news, on April 7th local time, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft operated by Southwest Airlines from Denver, Colorado to Houston, Texas experienced engine hood detachment during takeoff.
According to the pilot's report, the engine hood fell off and hit the flaps. For safety reasons, the aircraft immediately returned and landed safely at Denver International Airport in Colorado.
Southwest Airlines stated that its maintenance team is inspecting the aircraft that experienced the accident. The Federal Aviation Administration of the United States has stated that it will investigate this matter.
