The United States is continuing to strengthen the deployment of the critical metals supply chain with Allies in 15 mining projects around the world. The United States and its partners are working on up to 15 key mineral projects around the world to secure supplies of metals needed for electric vehicles and the energy transition, a senior U.S. official said on Thursday.
