On March 22nd, Zhongan Energy and NIO Energy signed a cooperation agreement on jointly promoting the construction of storage, charging and swapping systems and battery asset management systems. Chen Xiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wanneng Group, Li Ming, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, Liu Yacheng, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager, and Li Bin, Founder, Chairman and CEO of NIO, witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement. Wu Hai, Chairman of Zhongan Energy, and Shen Fei, Senior Vice President of NIO, respectively signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. Lu Hao, Chief Economist of Wanneng Group, and officials from relevant units from both sides attended.
Currently, Anhui has identified the automotive industry as the top industry and is fully promoting the construction of a new energy vehicle industry cluster with international competitiveness. As an important platform company for promoting a unified charging and swapping service network in Anhui Province and building an open and shared new energy vehicle storage and swapping network, Zhongan Energy actively links excellent enterprises in the industry. In this cooperation with NIO Energy, based on the principles of strategic identification and shared openness, both parties complement each other's strengths on their existing business foundations, and jointly promote the construction of storage and swapping systems and battery asset management systems.
According to the agreement, both parties will base themselves in Anhui, radiate the Yangtze River Delta, and look across the country to cooperate and promote the construction of a unified, open, and shared energy storage and charging exchange network, establish an efficient battery asset management and operation system, and based on innovative battery exchange models, cooperate in battery asset management and operation models, support the promotion of battery rental services (BaaS), create a full life cycle management system for power batteries, establish and promote unified battery and exchange standards, carry out cooperation related to new power systems, and jointly promote the construction and development of storage and charging exchange systems and battery asset management systems.
Through this cooperation, Zhongan Energy and NIO Energy will leverage their respective advantages to provide users with high-quality new energy vehicle aftermarket services, and contribute to the construction of a globally competitive new energy vehicle industry cluster in Anhui.
