On March 20th, CITIC Capital's invested company McDonald's China announced the official opening of Guangzhou Yunshan Tiandi Restaurant (hereinafter referred to as "Yunshan Tiandi Restaurant"). It is understood that this restaurant is designed and built according to the international authoritative green building certification LEED (Leadership in Energy&Environmental Design) "zero carbon emissions" standard, and adopts a "photovoltaic power generation+energy storage" green energy utilization mode. It will become the first "zero carbon restaurant" integrating photovoltaic and energy storage in China. The integrated light storage model has the potential to be replicated and promoted, setting a new benchmark for green carbon reduction in China's catering industry.
It is understood that Yunshan Tiandi Restaurant is designed and built according to LEED's "zero carbon emissions" standard, reducing its impact on the environment and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction throughout the entire process from restaurant site selection and design, building materials and construction, to energy management. The rooftop photovoltaic equipment of the restaurant will achieve an annual power generation of about 55000 kWh, meeting all the lighting electricity needs of the restaurant. On this basis, the restaurant has achieved efficient supply of green energy 24/7 through energy storage equipment, improving energy efficiency.
