According to CBS, on March 15th local time, Boeing announced that it will take one year to fix all engine issues on its Boeing 737 Max aircraft. At present, Boeing has formed a team of technical experts to quickly advance a safe and compliant solution to address issues that may cause overheating of the 737 Max aircraft engine anti icing system and damage to the engine. The report states that the repair period of the past year will delay the airworthiness certification process for 737 MAX 7 and 737 MAX 10 aircraft by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States.
