Tesla (TSLA) has been accused of allowing black employees at its California auto plant to be subjected to racial harassment and creating a hostile work environment, according to a lawsuit filed on Thursday by the federal agency charged with enforcing anti-discrimination laws.
In a lawsuit filed in the Northern District Court of California, the U.S. Fair Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) also accused Tesla of unlawful retaliation against black employees.
Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
