Previously, the UK Maritime Trade Action Office (UKMTO) issued a statement stating that on Sunday evening (February 18) local time, the Rubymar cargo ship was attacked 35 nautical miles (approximately 65 kilometers) south of the Yemeni port city of Muha. UKMTO stated that the attack resulted in the crew of the Ruby abandoning the ship, and all crew members were safe.
