The International Monetary Fund recently raised its global economic growth forecast for 2024. This is partly due to the resilience of growth in major economies such as China, and partly due to the faster than expected decline in global inflation. Looking ahead, the world economy seems to be heading towards a "soft landing", but there are still characteristics of slow and unbalanced recovery.
