On February 4th, Southern Finance and Economics reported that Nvidia's "special edition" AI chip H20 terminal products for China are now available for booking, according to multiple dealers. The product forms include computing cards and servers equipped with 8 H20 computing cards. Some dealers have stated that the purchase price of servers equipped with 8 H20 computing cards exceeds 1.5 million yuan. Many dealers believe that this price is a bit too high, so they have not yet decided whether to purchase. Another dealer revealed that the price of H20 computing cards is not fixed and may fluctuate within a certain range. Currently, Nvidia tends to sell server systems as a whole. In terms of performance, the Nvidia H20 has about one sixth the performance of the H100, but the price has not significantly decreased, so the cost-effectiveness is not high. H20 is a "special supply" version launched by Nvidia for the Chinese market, aimed at complying with the new export control regulations in the United States. On October 17th last year, the US Department of Commerce announced plans to restrict the sale of more advanced AI chips to China, which affected the export of Nvidia's A100/A800, H100/H800, AMD's MI200, MI210 and other graphics cards. Industry news shows that Nvidia also plans to launch two other chips for the Chinese market - L20 and L2. At present, H20, L20, and L2 have not appeared on Nvidia's official website. (Interface News)
