Boeing CEO Carl Horn announced on January 31 local time that the company is working hard to complete the key engineering modifications required for certification of its 737 MAX 7 aircraft. The redesign of the MAX 7 aircraft's engine intake de icing function may be completed within 9 months, and Boeing will invest additional engineers and resources to accelerate progress.
