Minikach said he called on Boeing to improve its internal quality control and said Alaska Airlines is currently conducting additional supervision on Boeing's production line.
The Boeing 737 team will suspend production for one day and hold a quality meeting

On January 23rd local time, Boeing announced in an email statement that the 737 aircraft factory team will suspend production for one day and hold a "shutdown quality meeting" in Washington. Employees will participate in practical learning and reflective collaboration, identifying areas where quality can be improved and compliance strengthened. In the coming weeks, all Boeing commercial aircraft factories and manufacturing bases will take similar actions. (Bloomberg)
