On January 19th, following Netflix, YouTube and music streaming company Spotify also announced that they do not plan to develop a separate app for Apple's hybrid head display device Vision Pro.
YouTube stated in a statement on Thursday that it does not intend to launch new applications for Apple Vision Pro, nor will it allow its long-standing iPad applications to run on Apple Vision Pro. Like Netflix, YouTube also recommends users to use a web browser to browse its content: "YouTube users can use YouTube in Safari when publishing Vision Pro."
