According to Taiwan's Economic Daily, TSMC has achieved great success in next-generation MRAM memory related technologies by jointly developing a spin orbit torque magnetic memory (SOT-MRAM) array chip with the Industrial Research Institute. Coupled with an innovative computing architecture, the power consumption is only 1% of other similar technologies, adding momentum to TSMC's foray into popular business opportunities such as AI and high-performance computing (HPC).
