The 2024 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), known as the "Spring Festival Gala" in the technology industry, recently kicked off in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
According to media reports, this year's exhibition has attracted over 4000 exhibitors, nearly a quarter of whom are Chinese manufacturers.
As one of the largest consumer technology exhibitions in the world, CES has passed its 58th year and has benefited from the recent wave of AI. At this year's exhibition, various "AI+" products have become the darling of various companies competing to "showcase".
AI takes the stage to sing the protagonist

In the past year, under the wave of big models, the AI industry has made rapid progress, and at this year's CES, AI has undoubtedly become the protagonist.
On the opening day of the exhibition, renowned graphics card manufacturer Nvidia unveiled a heavyweight new product.
In a speech on the 9th, Nvidia announced the launch of the GeForce RTX 40 Super series graphics cards, stating that they can inject strong power into gaming and creativity with their ultra-high performance artificial intelligence (AI). They enhance the performance of the latest games and form the core of AI assisting personal computers (PCs), making them the ultimate way to experience AI on PCs.
In terms of parameters, the performance of the RTX 4080 SUPER released this time is twice that of the RTX 3080 Ti, but the price is $200 cheaper than the latter, which can be said to be a "big bowl full of tubes".
Meanwhile, Nvidia announced that it will further expand its business beyond the gaming industry. Many electric vehicle enterprises have adopted NVIDIA DRIVE, the autonomous vehicle hardware of NVIDIA.
According to data, currently in the domestic automotive industry, Ideal Automobile, Great Wall Motors, Geek, and Xiaomi are all customers of NVIDIA, and related products have been applied in the field of intelligent autonomous driving.
And another graphics card manufacturer, AMD, is no exception. At this exhibition, they launched the Ryzen 8000G series, emphasizing AI capabilities through core graphics.
According to data, unlike Nvidia, which focuses on graphics processing technology, AMD's highest specification product released this time, the Ryzen 7 8700G, showcases how it can still play AAA level gaming masterpieces with the Radeon 780M core graphics, even in an environment without independent graphics.
In terms of AI capabilities, Jack Huynh, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD's Computing and Graphics Division, introduced that the 8000G adopts the Zen 4 CPU core and integrates an NPU with 16TOPS computing power. With the addition of CPU and GPU, the maximum computing power can reach 39TOPS.
In addition to Nvidia and AMD, well-known manufacturers such as Microsoft and Qualcomm all unveiled their latest AI products at this year's conference.
If we expand the scope of exhibitors to all aspects of clothing, food, housing, and transportation, AI can be said to be ubiquitous. Some media described this year's exhibition as a "carpet like" landing of generative AI.
According to media reports, at this exhibition, American human-computer interaction company Rabbit unveiled a brand new AI hardware R1. From the promotional perspective, the hardware is about half the size of an iPhone and uses a Large Action Model (LAM). Users can perform operations such as querying, playing music, taking a taxi, shopping, and sending messages simply by asking questions without the need for applications or login.
And another American startup, Telly, has announced a ChatGPT based "Hey Telly" voice assistant that can recognize family members on TV and provide personalized advice.
In addition, traditional hardware manufacturers such as Samsung, Lenovo, and Asus have also launched the latest AI TVs and AI PCs.
XR products are emerging rapidly

Although the haughty Apple still did not make an appearance at this exhibition, as the release date of its first MR product approaches, major manufacturers have already taken the lead at this exhibition.
Interestingly, according to media reports, this year's CES exhibition has opened a dedicated XR exhibition area in the core area of the exhibition hall for the first time, attracting numerous manufacturers.
At the meeting, well-known hardware manufacturer Sony released a system product with a shape similar to VR headsets, including 4K OLED micro displays and XR headsets, as well as a pair of handheld controllers. Its target audience is not gamers, but creators who need to create complex 3D content. This product will be put into use later in 2024.
According to media reports, two leading AR manufacturers from China, XREAL and Thunderbird Innovation under TCL, have successively launched their latest products and actively stated that they will compete with Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3.
It is understood that Thunderbird Innovation has showcased its first illuminated version of AR glasses X2 Lite, weighing around 60g, which can achieve the functions that the previously 110g full-color diffraction waveguide AR glasses X2 could achieve.
XReal, which focuses on large screen entertainment, has launched the XReal Air 2 Pro with 6 DoFs, which supports gesture tracking and has designed more space computing related functions, supporting the display of three large screens together. If connected to the computer, the user will work collaboratively through multiple screens.
Asus, which originally focused on computers, has also released its own AR eyewear product, AirVision M1. Compared to the current interactive AR glasses, this product only has basic display functions.
The reporter learned that as the most popular sector this year, a group of domestic XR industry chain enterprises have brought new products to the exhibition.
Industry insiders have analyzed that with the imminent release of Apple's first MR product, Vision Pro, 2024 will be a key node for the domestic XR industry to enter overseas markets and capture the minds of users.
