On January 11th, NIO announced that it had reached strategic cooperation agreements with Chery Automobile and Jianghuai Automobile for battery swapping. According to the agreement, Jianghuai Automobile and Chery will cooperate with NIO in multiple fields such as establishing battery replacement standards, battery replacement technology, constructing and sharing battery replacement service networks, and establishing efficient battery asset management mechanisms. At the same time, according to the agreement, Jianghuai Automobile's future planned new energy vehicle models will cooperate deeply with NIO to launch "rechargeable, interchangeable, and upgraded" models.
In addition to reaching strategic cooperation with automotive companies, on January 11th, NIO also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Anhui Energy Group Co., Ltd. and Anhui Transportation Holding Group Co., Ltd. to jointly promote the construction of an open and shared storage, charging and swapping system, and announced the official establishment of Zhongan Energy Source (Anhui) Co., Ltd.
