On October 18th, Apple CEO Tim Cook visited the factory of Lixun Intelligent Manufacturing (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. located in Jiashan, Zhejiang. This factory mainly produces Apple Watches. This is Cook's second visit to China this year.

Lixun Intelligent Manufacturing (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. is a demonstration and benchmark project introduced in Jiashan County in 2019. It belongs to the listed company Lixun Precision Group and is one of the main parks of Lixun Precision. The company's main business is comprehensive FATP electronic products such as high-end smart electronic wearable devices, smartwatches, and smartphones.
2. Zhejiang Provincial Government Agrees to Integrate and Establish Zhejiang Mingzhou Economic Development Zone
Recently, the General Office of the Zhejiang Provincial Government replied and agreed to integrate the establishment of the Zhejiang Mingzhou Economic Development Zone and implement the policy of provincial-level economic development zones. The planned area of the development zone is 24.55 square kilometers, divided into three districts. The planned area of Jiangshan District is 10.70 square kilometers, with four boundaries: east to Huanzhen Road, south to Mingguang South Road, west to the planned road on the west side of Xinzhangyu Village, and north to Yinzhou Avenue. The Panhuo area has a planned area of 9.27 square kilometers, with four boundaries: east to the Yongjin Railway, south to Yinxian Avenue, west to Fuming South Road, and north to the Ring Expressway. The planned area of Longxi District is 4.58 square kilometers, with four boundaries: east to Jinxi Road, south to Zhuyuan Road, west to Nanshan Road, and north to Yunli Road.
3. Opening of Yancheng North Shanghai Port Sea Rail Intermodal Scheduled Trains
On October 17th, the first "Yancheng North Shanghai Port" sea rail intermodal scheduled train was loaded with 50 containers of photovoltaic modules and shipped from Yancheng via Shanghai Port to Europe by sea, marking the "Yancheng North Shanghai Port" sea rail intermodal scheduled train.
Recently, Yancheng Traffic Investment Group and COSCO Shipping Logistics Supply Chain Co., Ltd. established a joint venture in Yancheng to operate the "Yancheng North Shanghai Port" sea rail intermodal scheduled train, and determined the "five fixed" operation mode of "fixed point, fixed time, pricing, fixed route, and fixed train number". With the opening of the "Yancheng North Shanghai Port" sea rail intermodal scheduled train, the export goods of enterprises get on the train from Yancheng North Station, which is equivalent to arriving at Shanghai Port, truly moving the export port to the "doorstep" of enterprises. It is understood that the "Yancheng North Shanghai Port" sea rail intermodal scheduled train is the first in the city, running every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Compared to uncertain factors such as waiting for goods and train formation, it greatly ensures the transportation efficiency of goods and reduces the comprehensive logistics cost for enterprises by about 15%.
