On December 28th at 11:00 am, the EH216-S unmanned manned aircraft independently developed by Yihang Intelligent Equipment (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yihang Intelligent"), carrying passengers, took off from the Jiulonghu Square in China Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, flew around the lake, landed steadily, and completed its commercial debut demonstration. This is the world's first commercial manned flight demonstration of this unmanned aerial vehicle after obtaining a model certificate and standard airworthiness certificate.

The confidence and determination of Guangzhou Development Zone to accelerate the layout of low altitude economic industrial clusters worth billions of yuan and promote the development of low altitude economy into the fast lane can be seen. It can be foreseen that the low altitude economy will play a more important role in the future economic and social development of the entire region. The first flight demonstration of EH216-S unmanned manned aircraft was chosen at Jiulonghu Square in the Shanshui Innovation City - Zhongxin Guangzhou Knowledge City. The EH216-S unmanned manned aircraft flying around the lake is like an eagle flapping its wings in the blue sky, attracting admiration from the on-site audience.
This "pure unmanned" aircraft does not require a pilot, safety officer, or passengers to perform any operations on board. The flight route is set in advance. As long as the destination is selected and the takeoff command is executed, the aircraft will automatically fly along the set route to the destination.

The flight was very smooth, and behind the short 5-word flight experience, there were over 42000 safe flights in 14 countries around the world and countless days and nights of research and development personnel overcoming difficulties. It is precisely the tens of thousands of safe flights made before that this aircraft has been fully guaranteed in terms of comfort and safety. R&D personnel have put a lot of effort into aircraft configuration design and safety assurance. This aircraft adopts a multi rotor 8-axis 16 blade design, each with an independent backup system. During flight, if the aircraft encounters any malfunctions, a new backup can be activated in real-time for replacement.
Low altitude travel:
"Sky City" has become a reality in Huangpu, Guangzhou
The commercial debut demonstration of Yihang EH216-S brings the future into reality, and safe, environmentally friendly, and automatic low altitude travel is truly entering people's lives. At the event, Yihang Intelligence and Guangzhou Development Zone Transportation Investment Group Co., Ltd. officially signed the EH216-S operation service agreement. The first unmanned manned aircraft of Yihang Intelligence to obtain the global standard airworthiness certificate has been delivered to the Development Zone Transportation Investment Group, and will be the first to be invested in the China Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Jiulong Lake normalized operation project.
After successfully obtaining the model certificate in October 2023, the EH216-S unmanned manned aircraft also successfully obtained the standard airworthiness certificate in December, becoming the world's first unmanned manned electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to obtain the model certificate and standard airworthiness certificate. It can be widely used in scenarios such as manned transportation, tourism, logistics transportation, medical emergency, etc. In the future, "aerial taxi" projects will also be launched one after another.

"10 Low Altitude Policies" is currently one of the largest comprehensive support policies in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the widest coverage of the low altitude economic industry chain. ——The first phase project of antibody drug research and industrialization built by domestic pharmaceutical leading enterprise Hengrui Pharmaceutical in the Zhongxin Guangzhou Knowledge City Biomedical Value Innovation Park is currently the most advanced biopharmaceutical research and production base in China. It can produce 8 million antibody drug formulations per year and is expected to reach a production value of 10 billion yuan;

——The total investment of the Shiyuan Intelligent Manufacturing Base project of Shiyuan Corporation is 2 billion yuan, and it will carry out research and development and production of display and control products, with a predicted annual output value of 5 billion yuan. ——The national headquarters project of Lijing Innovation Investment and Construction, a leading global camera module enterprise in the industry, is located in Zhaidong Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park.
