On December 22nd, a reporter from New Beijing News and Shell Finance learned that Canadian fashion brand Canada Goose has announced the appointment of Beth Clymer as the brand's newly established Chief Financial, Strategic, and Administrative Officer, which will take effect on January 8, 2014. At that time, Beth Clymer will be responsible for finance, personnel and culture, corporate strategy, and legal related work.

It is worth noting that Canada Goose will face multiple personnel changes next year, such as Neil Bowden, the current Deputy Chief Financial Officer, serving as Chief Financial Officer, and Jonathan Sinclair, the current Chief Financial Officer, serving as President of the Asia Pacific region. These two appointments will take effect on April 1, 2024. In addition, the current President of China, Li Zihou, has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Asia Pacific region, and the appointment will take effect on January 1, 2024.
The financial report shows that in the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, the total revenue of Canadian geese increased by 1.4% year-on-year to CAD 281 million; Gross profit increased by 8.3% year-on-year to CAD 179 million. Compared to the gross profit margin of 59.8% in the second quarter of fiscal year 2023, it expanded to 63.9% in that quarter. Canada Goose stated that the main reason is the high proportion of global direct channel revenue (DTC channel) sales, as well as some high profit product combinations sold in the Parker coat and non Parker coat categories, offsetting the increase in product costs caused by input cost inflation and increased shipping and tariff fees.
Looking ahead to the third quarter of fiscal year 2024, Canada Goose is expected to have a total revenue of $575 million to $700 million.
