The latest price increase in the United States meets market expectations, and the possibility of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates this year is further reduced. As price increases continue to decline, the market is anticipating that the Federal Reserve will start cutting interest rates in the middle of next year to avoid a recession in the US economy. A survey conducted by American media CNBC, including 35 economists, showed that the economic outlook will improve to some extent next year, and the Federal Reserve will start cutting interest rates next year, but the intensity and speed will not be as large as market expectations. Overall, respondents expect an average interest rate cut of about 85 basis points next year, which is about 25 basis points per quarter, but the magnitude is lower than the 120 basis points estimated by the futures market.
