Texas Instruments receives $1.6 billion in chip subsidies from the United States

Texas Instruments and the US Department of Commerce announced on December 20th local time that they will reach a direct funding agreement of up to $1.6 billion through the US Chip and Science Act. This funding will help support the three wafer fabs currently being built by Texas Instruments in Texas and Utah.
