On November 21st, NIO Motors announced that Chang'an would become the first partner to open up for battery swapping, and both sides would jointly develop a interchangeable electric vehicle model. The first interchangeable electric vehicle model with a shared battery pack is planned to be launched in 2025. Both sides will also jointly promote the establishment of a power exchange system and a battery asset management mechanism.
