On December 16th, Jingtai Technology and Microsoft China announced the signing of a strategic memorandum of cooperation aimed at utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), large models, and robotics laboratories to collaborate and actively explore innovative applications of these technologies in the fields of biomedicine and materials science, creating a new chapter in scientific research, education, and innovative applications.
In this collaboration, Jingtai Technology will leverage its expertise in AI for Science R&D platform and the vast amount of multimodal datasets accumulated in its robotics laboratory, combined with Microsoft's Large Language Modeling (LLM) capabilities, including Azure OpenAI and its high-performance cloud computing platform, to explore vertical domain big models in the field of new drug or new material development, and conduct case development in the field of new material design, empowering sustainable, environmentally friendly, and energy-efficient new material research and development. The common goal of both parties is to demonstrate how the next generation of computing and automation tools can accelerate innovation in chemistry and materials science, rapidly generate and validate AI generated molecules that meet necessary attribute and functional standards, and quickly transform research breakthroughs into competitive products.
Jingtai Technology will also explore the deployment of its proprietary AI driven molecular generation and molecular dynamics computing tools on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to further provide powerful computing support, enabling these precise and efficient intelligent algorithm tools to efficiently serve a wider range of enterprises and scientists, promote scientific research innovation on a larger scale, and continuously drive the iterative upgrading of Jingtai algorithms.
In addition, both parties will explore potential cooperation in the field of education and academia, promote the introduction of advanced AI and automation technology combined experimental solutions in academic education research, and advance the digital upgrading of universities and research institutions' laboratories under the empowerment of new generation AI and robotics technology.
