On December 12th, the Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference.
Today's Russian Video News Agency reporter: According to reports, Chinese manufacturers have recently begun to restrict the sale of key components used to manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles to the United States and Europe. These insiders are unwilling to disclose their identities due to sensitive information involved. What is the comment of the Ministry of Commerce on this?
Spokesperson He Yadong: The Chinese government has been strictly controlling the export of all dual-use items, including drones, in accordance with laws and regulations, and has issued multiple announcements. Regarding the scope of control and technical standards for drones and related components, you can refer to the "Dual Use Item Export Control List of the People's Republic of China" that came into effect on December 1st.
It should be emphasized that the Chinese government adheres to the concept of coordinated development and security, supports Chinese enterprises in conducting international trade and cooperation in the civilian field of drones, and firmly opposes the illegal use of civilian drones for non peaceful purposes. This is not only conducive to fulfilling international obligations such as non-proliferation, but also to ensuring the security and stability of the global supply chain.
