On November 26th, the 2nd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Chain Expo") opened in Beijing. During this year's Chain Expo, Qualcomm Wireless Communications Technology (China) Co., Ltd. At the exhibition booth, a Xiaomi SU7 Max caught the attention of many spectators. Li Yonggang, Technical Marketing Director of Qualcomm China, introduced to Poster News reporters that this model is equipped with the fourth generation Snapdragon intelligent cockpit platform, achieving innovative breakthroughs and allowing visitors to fully experience the "intelligent terminal on wheels". Qualcomm's automotive digital chassis solutions are also widely used. Currently, there are over 50 domestic car brands and more than 160 models using our related platforms, "said Li Yonggang.
A multimedia composite live streaming solution supported by 5G-A 10 Gigabit network technology was also exhibited on site. This solution is based on the on-site deployment of China Unicom's 5G-A 10 Gigabit network, combined with the Xiaomi 14 Pro equipped with Snapdragon X75 modem and RF system to create a smartphone form test terminal. Multiple high-definition videos captured by mobile and fixed cameras at the live broadcast site are transmitted through the 5G-A 10 Gigabit network to the AulaOne multimedia super workstation launched by DuShi Technology. Utilizing the professional level image processing engine embedded in the workstation, quickly load graphic and text packaging, freely design image layouts, and stream them to the video live streaming platform. This solution fully embodies the high bandwidth and low latency characteristics of 5G 10 Gigabit network, which well meets the rapidly growing user needs in dense network requirements and multi-channel concurrent business environments, and explores broader innovation space for the application of 5G-A 10 Gigabit network.
The 5G-A 10 Gigabit network has the characteristics of high bandwidth and low latency. In such a network environment, it can even simultaneously broadcast hundreds of high-definition videos, "said Li Yonggang.
It is worth mentioning that Qualcomm has set up joint exhibition areas with Xiaomi, Lenovo, and Honor at the booth, showcasing the multi field cooperation achievements of both parties under the empowerment of Snapdragon mobile platform and Qualcomm's cutting-edge technology, covering areas such as smartphones, tablets, personal computers (PCs), wearables, Wi Fi 7 routers, and smart cars, fully demonstrating the breadth and depth of cooperation.
As an active participant in China's wireless mobile communication ecosystem, Qualcomm showcased the latest cooperation achievements with Chinese operators in promoting the landing of 5G-A terminals and applications, as well as AI on the terminal side at the exhibition booth. Joining hands with China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom, Qualcomm presented a variety of terminals supporting 5G-A features at the booth, as well as a series of cutting-edge applications and services such as terminal side AI agents, 5G new calls, and non terrestrial network (NTN) communication. At the same time, the 5G broadcasting application launched by Qualcomm and the Academy of Sciences demonstrates how to quickly and efficiently push more diverse emergency information through 5G broadcasting in emergency situations.
