On November 28th, during the 2nd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo, Yum! Brands China held a global recruitment conference for suppliers at its booth. Through the newly launched supplier recruitment platform, it invited high-quality enterprises worldwide to seek collaborative development with more supplier partners. On site, Yum! China signed cooperation intentions with two Chinese companies, Hubei Huagui Food Co., Ltd. and Shandong Zhongji Food Co., Ltd., as well as a Thai company, Gaofeng Co., Ltd. Among them, Yum China and Hubei Huagui Food Co., Ltd. successfully signed a contract after three months and innovatively cooperated to develop a lotus root product that combines traditional flavors, which will be launched in the future.
It is reported that in April this year, Yum China launched a supplier recruitment management platform based on digital technology, covering various network channels such as the corporate website, industry official account, Little Red Book, Tiktok, etc. Since its launch, it has received more than 1000 applications from potential suppliers, involving more than 30 categories, and is gradually realizing the transformation between Yum China and suppliers from one-way manual selection mode to intelligent two-way mutual selection mode. As of now, Yum! China has over 800 core suppliers, covering multiple categories such as food raw materials, beverages, packaging materials, construction, warehousing, and transportation.
It is understood that since the opening of the first restaurant in 1987, after more than 30 years of development, Yum! Brands in China have exceeded 15800 stores. Yum! Brands operate six catering brands, namely KFC, Pizzahut, TacoBell, lavazza, Huang Jihuang and Little Sheep, and have established a supply chain management system.
