In the context of globalization, the global supply chain and industrial layout have been in constant change. However, in recent years, major western economies have taken a series of measures to start the anti-globalization industrial layout and establish a de-Sinicized supply chain system, trying to reduce their dependence on China, which has been vividly described as a wave of economic anti-globalization.
In the face of the tide of anti-globalization, in order to improve and ensure the integrity, advanced nature and safety of the industrial chain, maintain industrial competitiveness and resist external pressure, governments at all levels and enterprises of all types have adopted positive countermeasures, including encouraging technological innovation, strengthening intellectual property protection, and supporting enterprises to improve competitiveness. Optimize its supply chain to improve production efficiency and reduce costs; Actively promote international cooperation and participate in the construction of global value chains to ensure its status in the international economy.
Technological innovation is the core to maintain the competitiveness of industrial clusters, which includes the research and development of new products, new processes and new materials. Key elements to promote technological innovation include knowledge sharing, market orientation and continuous improvement. However, small and medium-sized industrial clusters have encountered challenges in innovation, with limited resources, financial difficulties, market entry barriers, and talent attraction and retention issues all presenting considerable obstacles. After 20 years of policy guidance and management and market integration, the structural complementarity of industrial clusters has been significantly different from that year, but the practical cluster value chain co-creation and sharing is still not satisfactory, mainly reflected in the unclear division of labor, lack of cooperation between enterprises, poor knowledge flow, competitive conflicts and so on.
Supply chain patent matrix
To overcome these challenges, industrial clusters need more cooperation and coordination mechanisms to promote the co-creation and sharing of value chains. Therefore, based on the study of national and provincial industrial policies and the investigation of some enterprises, this paper puts forward the assumption of supply chain patent matrix, namely: Chain master enterprises cooperate with upstream and downstream enterprises of the supply chain in different fields, different theme applications and different target users through the intra-chain collaboration mechanism to carry out high-value patent mining and patent layout. Through the sharing of patent rights, a supply chain patent matrix with a large number of patents is built to form a multi-node and multi-dimensional technical advantage.
Technological innovation and industrial cluster competitiveness
Industrial chain and supply chain, is a chain of the main enterprise as the core, gathering numerous enterprises, through different network nodes interaction, benefit exchange and constitute the network. Industrial clusters based on supply chain aggregation are of great significance to the development of innovation and intellectual property, including dense cooperation networks, high concentration of technology, innovation culture, and shared resources.
In an industrial cluster where supply chains converge, firms may be different parts of the supply chain, such as suppliers, producers, distributors, etc., that work together to ensure the smooth functioning of the entire value chain. In the supply chain, the flow of knowledge and information is crucial to the value added of the supply chain. For example, the flow of knowledge value can help enterprises better understand and optimize their supply chain and improve production and delivery efficiency. Through real-time information sharing, companies can better cope with demand fluctuations and risks in the supply chain.
At the same time, knowledge sharing in the supply chain helps companies obtain new ideas and solutions from supply chain partners, thereby driving innovation in products and services. By sharing, companies can also reduce supply chain management and operational costs. In addition, the flow of knowledge allows companies to obtain information on best practices and quality standards from the supply chain to improve their production and delivery processes and improve the quality and reliability of their products and services.
Chain master enterprises are usually the largest and most influential enterprises in an industrial cluster, with the ability to coordinate and lead other enterprises within the supply chain. They play a key role in the supply chain patent matrix, including coordination, patent equity sharing, resource allocation and leading innovation.
The role of supply chain patent matrix is also reflected in collaborative cooperation, which is manifested in cross-field cooperation, multi-party cooperation, knowledge sharing and cooperation inside and outside the supply chain.
One of the goals of the supply chain patent matrix is to discover and distribute high-value patents. These patents may relate to critical technologies, innovative products or core processes. By identifying, developing and protecting high-value patents, clusters can gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
The role and significance of patent matrix in supply chain
The realization of co-creation and sharing of intellectual property rights under the legal framework is another major role of the patent matrix in the supply chain. Companies need to ensure that the creation and sharing of intellectual property is legal and protected under the legal framework, including the establishment of patent sharing agreements, intellectual property licensing agreements and contractual legal provisions.
At the same time, the supply chain patent matrix can realize the centralized management and sharing of knowledge by constructing a public patent pool. This pool includes patents within the supply chain, which can be shared by supply chain members under an agreement and used to develop new products or services.
In addition, through the supply chain patent matrix, industrial clusters can form multi-node and multi-dimensional technological advantages. This means that enterprises within the cluster can have competitive advantages in multiple technology areas or dimensions, so as to better meet market demand and improve competitiveness. The supply chain patent matrix also helps foster the growth of enterprises in the industrial chain. Through knowledge sharing and technology cooperation, small businesses can gain access to knowledge and resources and increase their capacity to innovate, thereby enabling growth and development.
The supply chain patent matrix can not only be used for internal collaboration, but also as a competitive tool for industrial clusters. The cluster can use its patent matrix to attract investment, partners and customers, demonstrating its leadership in the technology sector.
The supply chain patent matrix helps to strengthen the embeddedness of industrial clusters and make them more attractive and competitive, thus avoiding industry migration. Through co-innovation and resource sharing, clusters can retain businesses and attract new investments, boosting the region's economic development. This helps industrial clusters maintain a strong foothold in the global economic competition.
In short, the patent matrix of the supply chain is consistent with the vision of "strengthening the chain to supplement the chain to extend the chain" in the development of the industrial chain, and reflects China's strategic response to the challenges brought by the current economic anti-globalization to industrial clusters. Through the application of supply chain patent matrix, the integrity, advancement and security of the industrial chain can be improved, and the cooperation within the industrial chain can be strengthened to ensure the reliability and stability of the supply chain. Enhancing competitiveness by identifying new links and opportunities to fill gaps in technology, resources and knowledge; We will expand the industrial chain to a wider range of fields and markets and explore new growth points. The implementation of these strategies will help industrial clusters to maintain competitiveness in the tide of anti-globalization and promote new development.
